Is it tuesday already?
Tomorrow is extra credit day so I have to go dye fabric at school and turn it in. It should be fun.
The soccer player called today from 'Portugal'. I put it in quotes because in the back of my mind I feel like all this playing soccer all over the world simply isn't true. I'll be surprised if it is. He told me he'd be in Miami on Saturday, needless to say he isn't. I guess the deal is since the earthquake hit he's been recruited to play games to raise money for the survivors in Haiti. So he was suddenly called to Portugal at the last minute. Today he's saying what he always does, that he's coming home tomorrow. I was very indifferent because how many times has he said this? I'll believe it when I see it, and even then I think I'll still be indfferent because of how long he made me wait around to see him. It's one of those things. I can't even pretend to fake it.
The tattoo guy got back from his friends wedding today and we chatted for a moment or two, we'll meet up next week.
I've felt like a hobbit the past two days. I walked up the street and got doughnuts, it was a gorgeous day outside and the perfect temprature. I've been sketching new outfits I want to put together next month. I want a valentines look, and my birthday is in march so I have to get a look for that too. I have decided I will have companions for both of these events. In my many trips to amazon, (my favorite pastime now that I have a computer and tons of time) I found these boots I cut out of a magazine a few months ago. The were $140 so they were on the yea, I wish list. Then I found them on amazon for $62. They keep selling out but I am sure they will get more. They are so sexy in every way. The thing is is that in Florida there are some issues. 1.) boot weather isn't around long, so you have to wear them out at night or something. 2.) they are suade and heat and suade dont mix.
3.) It rains here on a dime, and you know what happens with suade and rain even if you scotch proof them. So I dunno. But they are marvelous. Sigh....
