latinx queer punk band bitter packs a punch in new album “bitter”

February 7, 2017

Punk is the lifeblood to resistance and Atlanta’s own Latinx queer punk band Bitter is battling for more reasons than one. For their name to be bitter, their sounds combine the sweet cries of love, equality and justice with the heaviness of angst, anger, and apathy. Self-described as “emotional Atlanta queer rock,” their fierce, beautiful brand of punk teeters on the edge between delicate and demanding, polished and pulverizing. Their debut single “Stay” garnered critical praise and led them to create a blistering and boisterous 7-song self-titled project called “Bitter” due out this Friday February 10th on Pup Sounds label. With creative control spanning from the production, to the artwork, to the songwriting, this truly is a sound that is “Bitter” all their own. Stream an exclusive preview of the project now!
