AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

Dear Hip hop,

It doesn't benefit either of us if we communicate as friends at all. I never knew you would stoop so low to get back in my in life. I've heard about some of your new collaborations with my associates. Personally I think your attempts are pathetic.

T
Honestly and to tell you the absolute truth, I fell out of love with you many years ago. Once you began acting funny and switching your personalities around to benefit other people is when I knew. I feel betrayed and if were standing in front of me right now I'd spit in your face.

I can't believe I thought you'd actually change for the better one day. People left & right complaining in my ears. But your attitude, ego, swagger all blinded me. I got caught up in the Bling, Money and fast life and forgot who I was individually. Someday these words will manifest into that blind third eye that used to question why.
