Hey, does anyone remember that movie that came out in like 86' called teenage lovedolls or some shit, with those two dudes from Redd Kross and it had like some really shitty budget and very corny lines?
Well, I don't! I wasn't even born! I happened to stumble upon this while wikipedia-ing Steven McDonald. And I was like "No way! Steven McDonald was in a movie and so was Jeff?Wtf!"

I have this obsession with Redd Kross which I will explain to you in an upcoming blog. But anyway- ( why is there a big ass indent between the picture? ugh, this website sucks man!),so I decided to check out the trailer, because I have this thing for trailers( which will be justified in another blog ^_^). The trailer was EPIC-ly pornographic! It was like watching porn, cheap, mildly entertaining ( not that i've watched porn or anything), and short. What I'm basically trying to say is that you could tell this movie was going to be trash. Here see for yourself:
Yeah, you can draw your own conclusions. But I'll just dish out the basic fo real summary.
These random bitches wanna start an all girl punk rock band and get big

But they are steppin' on this true badass girl's turf

So then it's just a storyline of sorta random happenings that are supposed to illustrate a satirical image of how the music buisness is tough and rough, and the price to being a punk band on the scene and what it takes to make it big. I actually enjoyed it. The bland corniness of it plays well with the overall morals, and actually makes sense. It has Jhonathan Millers " Alice In Wonderland" qualities. If you've ever seen it, which all it is is constant literary nonsense in the movie, the true creepy Alice as Lewis Carrol intended the original "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" to be. But anyway back to Desperate Lovedolls, it's based off the story of the Runaways, which is expressed through the events, style, and so forth. The movie is like 45 mintues, but theres this one scene, my favorite scene, where Steven McDonald ( Jhonny Tremaine) starts raping one of the girls. It's so funny, and an obvious point made of how the producers force artists into becoming their slaves. Sex, both metaphorical and literal. Heres the scene:
"Listen bitch, fame has a price!", my favorite line of the entire movie. Another obvious summarization of the meaning. Dave Marky is hillariously straight forward. The director of the film. The entire movie is a metaphor, based on truth though.
sypnosis: DESPERATE TEENAGE LOVEDOLLS IS OFFICE MASTURBATORY GENIUS!
The only thing I really have left to say is that if you've seen the movie, tell me what you think about it. And if you haven't, get'cho ass up and go rent it or something!
To drugs,sex,rock'n ro-
NAHH THATS CORNY, just kidding!
byah dudes and gals!
