AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

London Based Band, The K-Shaped Rooms, Release New Video

The K-Shaped Rooms, the London based three piece indie rock band, recently released a new video called "Whispers" - a well produced melodic piece directed by Alasdair Mitchell.  The video for "Whispers" features lead singer, Komla, walking through a grassy meadow on an overcast day...all in slow motion, giving the effect that this guy is really going through some things in his life.  Towards the end of the video, a woman appears but doesn't hang around long enough for Komia to hand her a letter, which he then places in a glass bottle and tosses it into the ocean.  Yes, like an actual message in a bottle.  Check out the video and let us know if you could put a message in a bottle, who would it be for and what would it say?  We're curious to know.

this guy looks so much like keziah jones, and is obviously influenced by him. i am also a fan of that great innovator and maverick afro-punk; the great femi. KEZIAH JONES and NICK DRAKE had a love-child! also it reminds me of an album collaboration between DAVID MCALMONT and BERNARD BUTLER of SUEDE that was genius, called "THE SOUND OF MCALMONT AND BUTLER"
