I finally got my chance to meet a Royal, The Clown Prince, next on the list kiss a movie star!. He may be of the Har Har vairety but he's princely just the same. Chif was just destined for greatness. Growing up in both Nigeria and the Uk he was always in the mist of transverseing cultures and expressionism with in the confides of culture. Finding himself in Lagos, somewhere along his travels in youth, he found himself playing the Dejembe or "talking drum" ans it um well spoke to him. This instrument spoke to him in no other way that schooling could of, it had rhythm. later on along the way Chif began to make a name for himself in music by producing music, including music for natch!, and but he wasnt fulfilled enough he wanted more he found out how to make music sound good so why not use that for himself. He put out and it was critical success for him. All things were great but he was still lacking. He was doing alright with his album, it was a good hip-hop album, but he still wanted more that what he and his fellow member of the court The Wiz could produce. he thought long and hard over it until he thought back to his drum. Wham! he wanted to make a newer, livelier, fuller sound. So he did what anybody would do. Hop on a plane and head to NYC. LOL.
As soon as he got to new work he was off and running tracking down shows and people to play with. He sent out a few criagslist post and came up with Zach and Chris. All he needed was a good drummer thankfully Chris recommended his twin brother, Andrew. To add to the team he called up his boy Will Divide, of Nina Sky, to dj along with the newly formed group. So the court was set and they began to practice as a band I thankfully was fortunate to sit in on one such occasion.
