not like "cloning" a sound but this is what they call UK82 or old school street punk...for example GBH really sounds a lot of the Casualties, but not really. with this genre it's all in the tone, effects, the guitar players' style, the singers' shouting voice, and how intricate the bass lines are (usually not much but there are some exceptions).

Comment by Xombie Panik on August 8, 2010 at 11:08am: almost all of the street punks here are in thier own little fencewalker/RAC type clique, and outside of that there ain't too many, maybe 3 total. This band fell apart like Michael Jackson, so when I get some more loot so I can pay to rent a jam spot, I'll get back working on it. For now, fuck it. The scene here is watering down with scene kids & hippies anyway, so I'm gonna just be doing this for myself...nobody else. No rush since I got more important shit at hand occupying my time for a while.
