AFRO-PUNK

... the other Black experience

IT WAS SICK!

Yesterday 5/2/09 I went to Nas concert at Hunter College in NYC. It brought me back old school. I must say he still got it. His rhymes are still fresh even his early 90s lyrics you can still relate to today. I never been to one of his concert prior to that but I will start. Sidebar: If anyone went to Hunter concert and know the name of the chick who was free styling let me know. Her rhymes were dope she spit it old school in the best way. I will post her pics later.

Hey TK

Lol, small world. By the way I love your sound; even though you had to wing it trust me it was awesome. I came in a little late so I didn't hear you spit your sound from the beginning. But the part I came in was dope. Your friend was sick with the sounds too. I'm actually the chic who handed you the flyer of BlackBoard 25/ with the barcode.
BlackBoard 25 is a skateboarding co. The truth we would so love to sponsor you and your crew with tees. Our updated tees would come out in July with old school flair and more. Next year we will be throwing a skateboard music bash. Would so love for you to join. We can't pay musicians but we would have a booth, which bands can drop off their cd’s. We will sell it and give the bands back their full profit of cd’s. We would also be doing a photo shoot for the bands and boarders whom we sponsor in September date not set as of yet. Love for you to join TK. so funny how you responded to this mail.

The female rapper you mentioned is TK Wonder which is me, lol. Thank-you, it's great you were feeling our improvisational set. We couldn't do our orignal set due to technical difficulties so just had to wing it.
