new music: brooklyn-based soul-singer solo woods hits us with super-funky single “h2o”

March 3, 2016

“H2O” is a wonderfully minimal meat and potatoes kind of song that relies on little more than Solo Woods’ bright, soulful vocals and a super-funky distorted baseline. A departure from Woods’ older R&B tracks, “H2O” is outfitted in understated synths, guitar, and percussions: a refreshing niche for Woods’ to hopefully dive deeper into.
