new music: fka twigs reveals tortured single ‘figure 8’

‘Figure 8′, a track from FKA twigs’ upcoming EP, was premiered today by Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Radio. In a phone interview with the radio host, the artist explained that the number 8 is a reference to eternity and hand movements in vogueing: “every single move has to flow into the other”. FKA twigs also talked about the hardship of tour life and why the lyrics of the songs include “It’s a miracle if we’re still alive”.
