new music: listen to new music by experimental soul duo technoir on their lush ep “nemui”

April 13, 2016

Listen to experimental soul duo TECHNOIR’s EP “NeMui-New Ecosystem Musically Improved”. The EP is a a generous blend of electro-funk and soul. The multicultural team presents a glittering kaleidoscope of down right dirty distorted bass lines, which open tracks like “Survive” and ambiguous percussion and effect loops that weave themselves between bright guitar riffs on the somber “3 Slides”. Although only three tracks in length, “NeMui” shows substance and diversity that leaves us longing for more. Check it out.
