Defining their genre as #Speakeasy soul and #Neo-Ragtime, Dessy Di Lauro and Ric’key Pageot of Parlor Social definitely live up to their titles. The infectious old-timey, Bebop rhythms, meshing smoothly with an accompanying R’n’B style backbone, transport the listener back in time while also maintaining a modern groove.
