I think the recorded heated convos with his mom is just a window into his life. A recorded moment in time that he may want to look back upon and listen in 10 years...But then again, he is 18 and like most teenagers he possibly wants it to be an "I'll SHOW YOU, MOTHER! See! See, how I was RIGHT and YOU were WRONG?!! Look at how successful I am now and you are holding me back". Teenagers do think they know it all. Hopefully he is more intelligent than that and just wants to display an artistic but real-life way of a young kid struggling to follow his art, craft, passion of music. His mom's heart is in the right place, he just doesn't know it yet. Nothing wrong with a mother wanting her son to have an education and wanting her son to do all that he can to be able to survive in the world. The starving artist route is a bitch and she knows it. She cares...

The album is the dopeness, but I admit to being a little confused at the necessity of the interludes featuring fights with his mom.
