new music: redline graffiti – “junior june”

February 13, 2014

Redline Graffiti is garage-rock tug of war with electronica using an R&B rope. With their latest single, “Junior June,” a heartfelt and tumultuous homage to parenthood, the band takes aim at a larger market.

Named for a stretch of graffiti that runs along Washington, DC’s oldest public train line, Redline Graffiti’s sound has garnered such descriptions as “Electro-rock newcomers” (Dave Malitz, Washington Post) and  “somewhere between Passion Pit and Frank Ocean”(Coby Argain, Blisspop). “Junior June” is currently available to stream and download on iTunes and the groups’ follow-up EP, “The Drill,” will be released on  April 4.
