new music: shreveport natives seratones flex some serious garage-rock’n’ soul muscle with latest ‘chandelier’ and ‘sun’

New music today from killer garage-rock band, Seratones. You might know them from last year’s ‘Necromancer’, but if not, nows a perfect time to check them out. From the jump, their sound has a distinctly raw, frenzied punk-rock feel that’s clearly steeped in the rich blues of their Shreveport roots. But the real showstopper for me is the voice of singer-guitarist A.J. Haynes, which cuts right through the equally masterful instrumentation of guitarist Connor Davis, bass player Adam Davis, and drummer Jesse Gabriel, and layers an unfiltered, damn near reckless bolt of soul. Some good shit.
