new music: the bots release their long awaited debut full-length album, ‘pink palms’

October 15, 2014

Sibling duo The Bots – Mikaiah and Anaiah Lei – have released their long awaited debut full-length album. Since 2006, the brothers have played some of the biggest festivals – Coachella, Glastonbury, South by Southwest and CMJ to name but a few – and have opened for the likes of Bad Brains, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and and Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz. Hence the anticipation for this album project comes as no surprise, especially with Mikaiah making comments such as: “It will be a proper rock ‘n’ roll album.” The album, ‘Pink Palms’, was recorded in the brother’s hometown, Los Angeles, and was produced by Justin Warfield; with production contributions from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zenner.
