new music: the eclectic sound of british singer-songwriter basheba (ep premiere)

April 21, 2015

Freckled face beauty, Basheba, credits her Bajan roots as a significant musical influence. According to the singer, the passion and love the people of Barbados have for music was ingrained from an early age. Spending a significant amount of time on the Caribbean island during her adolescent years, contributed to a mixed bag of experiences that translated into to her eclectic sounding music — ranging from electro-heavy to gospel inspired tracks.

A year ago, the singer gifted us with “Your Love,” an up-tempo track about the addictive hold love can evoke. Now, releasing a freshly made video “High and Dry,” as well as a four track Sessions EP, an emotionally gritty and stripped down version of her most recent work.
