new music: ‘under the blood red moon’ – the latest single from eclectic punk funk performer/producer ebony bones

October 9, 2015

Listen to the latest single from British punk funk singer-songwriter and producer Ebony Bones, ‘Under the Blood Red Moon’ (from her new EP, ‘Bread & Circus Part 1’ – out October 16 on her 1984 Records label). Bones recently told The New York Times that the track is “about celebrating our time on earth while we still can.” Also – in regards to being a woman in a male dominated arena – she also told the publication: “I saw a deficit of female producers, and it’s still that way. Being able to own my material is a big thing […] A lot of women get into situations in the music industry where their creativity is being controlled. Why not be the architect of your own world?” Pow!
