Nikki Lynette Raises Her Middle Finger And Releases Two Videos In Promotion Of Upcoming Mixtape
Getting ready for the release of 'Roses N' Guns 2: the BADDER ASSED Mixtape That Rocks', indie hip-hop/pop/rock artist Nikki Lynette gives the middle finger to norm and rules once again, releasing two videos before the project drops on May 18th. In the first one, 'Bird = Word 2.0', the AP member only appears briefly at the beginning and lets Peter Griffin (from TV show Family Guy) take it away. The song was produced by renowned engineer Matt Hennessy (Jay-Z, Kanye West). Ironic as ever, she states: "I'm an emcee. I rap about the REAL things in life, like being bad ass & how sexy nerds are & cereal."
The second vid is for her take on Marylin Manson's 'Beautiful People'. A mix of bondage and schoolgirl uniforms. Don't worry, if you're confused, that's the idea. Ms. Lynette says: "This video got me called a dyke, a weirdo, an oreo, & a nigger all in one day. LMFAO! I ain't got no hate like that in a while, I must be doing something right."
