pioneering black female comic shop owner gets her own marvel cover with riri williams of invincible iron man

Calling all Blerds! How would you like to have a Marvel comic book cover with the most fly superhero in the multiverse? Well it looks like you just have to be groundbreaking comic book shop owner Ariell Johnson. She’s been collecting comic books for more than a decade, but she’ll soon add one with a very familiar face. The 33-year-old founder and president of Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse, Inc. in fair old Philadelphia will appear on a variant cover of “Invincible Iron Man #1” with none other than RiRi Williams! If becoming the first black, female comic book store owner on the East Coast wasn’t enough to make her 2016 one for the books, this certainly is!
