... the other Black experience

Southern Comfort

Oh, I've seen the mistreatment by men have on her beautiful lovely face
Yet and the hard work of her hands tell the story of a life so stressful.
Weight of her backbone bares unlimited pressure of everyday living takes
place but never couldn't be broken
Years of survival has been taught by no lesson
but experience has walked her through it
time and time again.
Her tender brown feet has so many miles like a used automobile.
Her eyes reflects a life of sadness but happiness comes with spiritual praise
Her heart continues to love even after it has been trampled down into dirt.
Stay strong, my beautiful southern comfort black queen.
