PREVIEW: Betty Black Getting Ready To Unleash 'Slow Dance' EP

Remember dope indie band Kudu? (if not, check out the video below, filmed when they performed at the Afro-punk Festival a couple of years ago). They haven't released anything since 2008. Drummer Deantoni Parks went on to work with the likes of MeShell N'degeocello, The Mars Volta. And bad-ass singer Sylvia Gordon is gearing up for the release of her EP 'Slow Dance', under her alias Betty Black (due out June 28th). Melancholic, trippy songs, free creativity that doesn't seem to follow any rules/politics. You can preview some of them below. Let us know what you think! - Lou C-D

I just wanna reassure folk that KUDU is not dead but will be resurrected under the name ART WORLD KILLER very soon under Omar Rodriguez Lopez's Production collective (He's Mars Volta) Hence, why D is messin with them...they are returning the favor by giving us some visibility.
