Check out The Black Tones, a high-energy bluesy rock band from Seattle. Equipped with some serious traditionalist rock melodies and black power-infused punk. The group was started by powerhouse vocalist (and guitarist) Eva and her twin Cedric David (drums), who harness the down-home rootsyness of the South—which isn’t surprising given their New Orleans upbringing. Now joined by bassist Giordan Montero, the trio combines the blues with loud punk for boisterous perfection. Hear them out, down below.
