FELA! is a triumphant tale of courage, passion and love, featuring Fela Kuti’s captivating music and the visionary direction and choreography of Tony® Award-winner Bill T. Jones
Truth Mamadoc. I've seen a few plays and musicals and this ranks as the BEST. Said it another thread, you do not have to be a Fela or Afrobeat fan to dig this, but you be one after. This is more celebration concert because you will up on your feet jamming.
I excpected it to be good but that powerful? Damn! Not to mention the visual treat of seeing so much eye candy on stage and in the audience, brothers and sisters you will have a great time, ha!
This is such a GREAT show! I overheard a woman behind me saying it was her second time there & a friend in NY told me about someone she knew who had seen it more than 5 times. I've been wanting to go back to see it again myself now & if I lived in NY, I'm sure I would have. Definitely worth it!
