Hi everyone, we would like you to tell us whether or not you think we should keep the old Afro-punk message board up!
We currently have them up as a read-only website, and we're wondering whether we should use the resources necessary
to keep it up for the production of new content instead.
Do you really use the archived message boards? Let us know!

The old board clicks through to the new one.
If hosting and bandwidth is a huge money burden you could put it all on a USB drive and sell it. I'm guessing getting USB drives printed is cheaper than books of that size. It's been done before with mixed results... http://www.usatoday.com/life/music/news/2007-10-17-usb-rockers_N.htm
These guys just had the price point wrong for an album. 15.00 to 19.99 is probably about right for the archive. Keep the threads and make it searchable but all within the USB. Call it the "Afropunk Archives", "Afropunk Apocrypha" or something like that...
"usb drives with logo" comes up with hundreds of google hits.

Do you mean keep it up as an archive? If so, definitely keep it up. This is our history. This shows how we progressed as people. So yeah, totally keep it up.

Definately keep. Oral history is good, but the written word is a powerful record of a people's history.
