The Bots Rep Afro-punk On The Vans Warped Tour : Day 10

We are sitting in a Chinese food buffet in Moriarity, NM and the egg drop soup is surprisingly great for a town with only one stop light! Nice! Today (and yesterday) are travel days and we are driving from Cali to the midwest over the next 2 days and having to go around the Rockies so that means a loooong drive! Bonner Springs, Kansas is next on the tour and we will be there sometime late tonite for the show tomorrow. We have never been to the mid-west so this is so cool... and hot! We stopped at this place in Needles California about ten minutes away from Arizona border and had such a good breakfast!! It was delicious and the people were so nice, and Mikaiah played "Old Days" on his acoustic and sang for the whole restaurant! We have met so many great people on this tour and are having so much fun!!

We are kicking back a bit, checking out some of these small towns along the way, listening to good tunes, chatting about the passed days events... One of our FAVORITE moments was in Las Vegas after the shows, a bunch of bands hung out in the parking lot and partied. Anaiah and I had a jam sesh with the guys from Hello Goodbye and Flask! That was killer. We sang a bunch of songs including Beatles songs and Arcade Fire (my personal fav) and some just jamming.... I had my acoustic out and Anaiah has a tom and a mallet... so awesome! We will share some video soon!

There was a rainbow today too, is that good luck? Gonna google that... but do know that's just as cool as fireworks so not worried about missing all that! That's a lie, we TOTALLY missed out on fireworks!! Dang. ahaha oh well, Warped Tour makes it all feel ok! :)

So far the weather has been great! A little rain while we we driving the other night, but on the other hand we saw a really sick lightning storm! So amazing!!We caught it on our flip cam!

Yesterday we stopped at a cool General Store later on in Arizona and hung out outside the bus for awhile cause it finally cooled down a bit and we all needed to stretch our legs. They have funny weird things to buy like rattlesnake eggs and I (Mikaiah) kinda want a canteen for water on stage! I'm thinking I may hit this place up on the way home!

This is our RV "Large Marge"! Sunset was killer. We stopped on an indian reservation and watched it and met a lady with a little fluffy dog that looked like ours  named Coconut, and I (Anaiah) got in some skateboarding too on my new board I got on the tour!

We just finished our Chinese food buffet and can barely breathe let alone move but some skateboarding int he parking lot sounds like the right thing to do right now so, last one to the RV is "that" guy!

Stoked to see all the bands again tomorrow! Hope everyone drove safe, this was a long trek to the midwest (and we're not even there yet!)
