'The View' Shouts Out AP Member Nikki Lynette's Satirical BHM Blog Post About Her White Friends

In addition to being a singer/MC/producer, Afropunk.com member Nikki Lynette blogs. Her satirical Black History Month post "10 things my White Friends should do for me during BHM" got some love on national TV (and obviously attracted some "haters" too afterwards, for good measure)! ABC show 'The View' mentioned it in their 'Hot Topics' and quoted some of the funniest entries, such as: "Help me catch a cab" (Lynette says some cab drivers blatantly refuse to take Black customers in Chicago), and "Quit touching my hair. Stop it", "Avoid asking me what the slang in rap songs means. (...) I DON'T KNOW what 'Choppa N Da Paint' means". Way to go Nikki! Watch the segment below.
