(this was an old blog i had posted a while back. I wonder if it still holds true today)
I'm so tired of fat women calling themselves "thick" to relieve their insecurites about being overweight. All of my friends love "thick" women, but it seems like the term "thick" has left this impression to some members of the opposite sex:
1. That it's okay to gain a whole lot of weight, and not stay in shape.
That is BS! Thick was a general term used to describe (and celebrate) women of color in the early 90's, because they were a lot more developed (in certain areas... T&A) that most pencil-thin women of european descent. That's why you heard songs like "Baby Got Back", "Rumpshaker", and plenty others to celebrate this unique quality.
Over the years, women have changed dramatically. It seems like a lot of women, regardless of ethnicity, have acquired this quality (God Bless Them). However, there are others that try to claim this title, but don't deserve it. So here's my small guideline for a "thick" woman.
1. It's all about shapes and curves. Most women have the figure 8 shape, but thick women possesses a wide 8 shape. Her booty is nice, round, soft, and large enough for any many man to hold on to for whatever sort of fantasy crosses their mind. When a thick women walks, her cheeks move from side to side, creating a hypnotic motion, that would put any booty lover in a trance immediately.
A"thick" booty may have some dimples, but it should never look like "cottage cheese"!
2. Finally, in addition to being thick in the right areas, a thick woman has a little bit more muscle than your average catwalk model. It shows to men that she can also be very strong when needed.
If there was an overall concept to describe the "Thick Woman", I'd have to say
"Subtle Strength underneath Overwhelming Voluptuousness"
Am I the only one that feels like this?
