Okay. I'm beginning to get to the point where I can say that I am okay now. I'm still not too happy about having a hard time with women, but I'm not completely down and out about it as I have been for a long time. Whatever, it's time for me to talk about something new.
I can't wait to attend that Afropunk Festival that's coming up in a month. It's a drive and a half, but it's worth it. I haven't been to NYC in years...YEARS. It's going to be weird trying to drive there. Wow, home of the double-parking cars and the psychotic taxi drivers. I better save up for a mountain bike in case in get stuck in city traiffic up there. Oh well, it's good for me. I'd been down here in hilbilly hell for so long I've forgotten how it is to be a New Yorker (I was originally born there). Maybe I should practice flipping the bird, because I might need that on the road a lot. I'm going to be social worker, so the best way to respect NYC culture is by adapting and participating with the middle finger in the air as a greeting on the road...LOL!!! Anyways...
I hope to can finally fix my computer at the apt. It won't load Windows and I'm stumped as to what to do about it. I don't have the loot to spend a comp techkie for $50 an hour (did he forget Geek Squad's highway-robbing prices?). Eventually, I'm figure it out, but until then, I'm going to continue waiting in the computer rations line at the library for net time, arrgh!
P.B.
