video premiere: jenny bapst – ‘yes you are’

October 29, 2014

Today we’re premiering the visuals for electro-pop artist Jenny Bapst’s song ‘Yes You Are’, a tale of disillusionment turned into a groovy and catchy tune.
In Jenny’s words: “Yes You Are” is about falling in love with someone, discovering that someone is not quite who you thought they were and discovering on your own who that person really is. (…) So you wake up and learn from it and move on. And it is not until you are gone that the other person realizes what they’ve lost, but it’s too late. So the song (in a nutshell) is about making mistakes, learning from them, becoming stronger and moving on.”
The video was shot in 2 locations around NYC: The lounge/club Goldbar and around the Financial district in Manhattan.
