Video: Zap Mama & The "What About Me?" Project

Marie Daulne, performer extraordinaire/fronting member of groundbreaking group Zap Mama, is featured in the new video from the "What About Me?" project. Helmed by concept band 1 Giant Leap, the collaborative album explores "through music, the complexities of human nature on a global scale, and aims to reveal how we are all connected through our creativity and beliefs, but most of all through our collective insanity". OK, sounds like a plan! The result is a song permeated by African sounds and haunting vocals by Daulne, who was born in the Congo. Other collaborators in the "What About Me?" project include Tim Robbins, Michael Stipe, Baaba Maal, among others. Check out the Zap Mama video + more below!
