Pam Grier signature afro changed the way black women wore their hair in the 70's. Lately the afro seems to be coming back hard. Every city I travel to large or small a lot of women are rocking the afro. I see women with big afro pony tails and puffy afro's from large too small. Sometimes they twist it and let it loose, or just let it go wild and all natural. What prompts me to write this blog was a young lady name Sadie who had the perfect afro tress. I asked her how she maintains such gorgeous hair. She said. “It is not mine. When Sadie said her hair was fake I was like, really! So then I began a fake afro journey. I asked every girl who had an amazing afro is that your hair? Now we know women wear weaves and fake hair in real life and in the entertainment industry. I wonder is wearing a fake afro really necessary. It seems as though any one can grow afro of some sort, unless you suffer from hair loss. I wonder what guys think about girls wearing a fake afro?

The one relationship I was ever in, my woman wore a wig always. Hated it, and they all used to scratch my face, itch and just plain annoy the hell out of me (I still have the scars). But that's love for you. Most of my life I've been single, so as long as she looks good and smells good, it really doesn't matter.
Come to think on it, I don't know the difference between extensions and, ummm... what's the other thing? Weaves. I think someone explained it to me once, but I forgot. One thing I can say for certain is no more wigs for me, relationship or not.
