White Supremacists Boycott “Thor” Over Idris Elba Role

The Council Of Conservative Citizens, a White Supremacist organization is calling for a boycott of the movie, “Thor” which is based on a comic book that is based on Norse mythology because of Idris Elba’s role as the Norse God, Heimdall. Elba, who is British, has been in several movie and televisions show, but it perhaps best known for his role as Stringer Bell on the TV Show, “The Wire.”

The group is upset that London-born Idris Elba, star of The Wire and BBC detective series Luther as well as a number of Hollywood films, is to play deity Heimdall in the Marvel Studios feature. The group, which opposes inter-racial marriage and gay rights, has set up a website, boycott-thor.com to set out its opposition to what it sees as an example of leftwing social engineering.

"It [is] well known that Marvel is a company that advocates for leftwing ideologies and causes," the site reads. "Marvel frontman Stan 'Lee' Lieber boasts of being a major financier of leftwing political candidates. Marvel has viciously attacked the Tea Party movement, conservatives and European heritage.

"Now they have taken it one further, casting a black man as a Norse deity in their new movie Thor. Marvel has now inserted social engineering into European mythology."

They especially like to play dress up as Egyptians-In EVERY movie about Egypt, and there about to do it again with the remake of Cleopatra, for the umpt-teeth time, with Angelina Jolie. Caucasians have a lot of nerve, not to mention all of the historical information that they have distorted and white washed, Turning known black folks who walk the earth, both in Africa and Europe- because white n their history book and fabricated painting and drawings...and the list goes on.

Yea, im a fan of Kenneth Brenagh and it's seems that he loves to place black people in movie roles in where you would expect the character to be white, just watch any of his Shakespearean films and you would know what i mean. Finally, in the long history of white people portraying non white characters in movies, why not the other way around. Mr Brenagh seems to like having diversity in his movies, i think he like the controversy of it and the cast contrast-if that makes sense. Besides niggas populated this whole planet, you had black royal families and saints, as well as black gods that were worshiped in Europe. at least he seems to acknowledge it.

It annoys me when they make these little innocent white characters that will some how "save world" and they always make proud Asian nations as bad people. And I'm not be as you say Super Afro fighter. I'm annoyed that this has been made a important issue when there are other things to worry about, other issues that need to be addressed. Yes I like seeing African Americans play interesting roles. And I have read this comic before. I enjoyed reading it. There Odinist (people who worship the Norse God Odin). This is a "white" pagan faith. There are Blacks who follow the Kemetic faith who wouldn't like whites playing Egyptian Gods. And come on there is no such thing as "white universe" America was founded by Europeans duh. Of course the most of your actors are going to be white that's fact. Hollywood was a White Jewish company that stared mostly white actors and actresses. The fact that we even made it there is a accomplishment. We have tons of Black actors and movies. We even have Black comic writers so what enjoy the comic and or movie. Stop being pissed off at whites that don't want us around. It's a fruitless endeavor. It's not racism.
