We would like to sincerely thank those of you who took the Afro-punk survey, we are amazed at the response and proud of our community. The world is listening to what you have to say, this research will also be an important tool to give us some leverage when dealing with the media, with our supporters, with our sponsors, and with the other partners involved in keeping Afro-punk alive.

Comment by Guiga Preto on February 9, 2012 at 10:50am: I think the Afro Punk community should be aware that there are people who got in touch with the movement who may be currently living in other countries, not necessarily in the US. I hope that was taken into consideration once you set as a possible prize meeting, let's say, Janelle Monaé.
