I feel you on the grow out phase T.T I went through that two years ago when I shaved my head. My hair's just now starting to act the way I want it to. My dream is to one day have a fro so big, it blocks out the sun and destroys all man kind.  =---- lol, I SEE.  Well, I like the shade, so I'm good.

Haha, I'm actually REALLY sporty.Yesterday I ran 5 miles to the beach from downtown, swam, then walked down the rest of the beach and took the bus home. White people seem to love my fro especially because when I push it back I look like wiz khalifa >.>

--They think its unique or something.  Maybe they think its anachronistic, who knows.  Some of them have fros to, and should let their hair be free from the bondage of socially acceptable non-African descendant hair.  They need a hair revolution!  lol

My plan, as stated somewhere in the AfroPunk cyber world, is to let my hair grow out and braid it up.  It'll take a while and  I have a year-long awkward hair growth stage. :(

I can teach you a thing or two,I have my stoic bitch face on lock ^-^

I see that.  Well, start dropping some knowledge on me.

Why are people afraid of the 'fro?!  In the 1800s maybe it said, 'escaped slave!  come to take revenge upon us for our evil ways!'  In the 1960s 1970s, it said, "Black Power Revolutionary come to take revenge upon us for our evil ways!", now, in the millenium it says, "Non-stereotypical non-sports-playing scary person who is a non-conformist and may take revenge upon us for our evil ways!" -- I dunno.

I AM pretty friendly I think.  I'm working on countering that.  heh

General shock, confusion, and disgust?  Damn.  I get that anywhere I am with no piercings.

Okay, I see.  Well, not really, but I understand. Thanks for sharing your paradigm on piercing.  I think I've learned a thing or two.  :)

People get modified for one or several of four reasons:

1. Aesthetic

2. Sexual Enhancement

3. Shock Value

4. Spirituality

How does 2. above work with a septum piercing?   I can see the others, and I can see 2 with some piercings.

So, how does your number 2 work out Afrostache?  How's that work?

I see.   What attracts you to extreme piercing?  Wouldn't scarification cause you allergies as well?

I don't have any piercing or tattoos.  I might have tattoos but my complexion is deep and I don't any tattoos that can't be seen.  I can only think of the Cuban flag, Che and Malcolm X and the American flag as subjects, and my Chinese name.
