She has a timeless talent for song and this really takes me back to that old Billy Holiday comparison but she is always original and nostalgic, jazz is jazz.  This is a beautiful song beautifully interpreted by a female visionary.

I like Badu, but this is unoriginal. I can dig up just about any other Jazz singer doing this type of thing.
