While I enjoyed and appreciated the message..the song in and of itself was weak and overproduced. It tried to be retro funk without any grooves, hooks or melodies. Just like most "dance oriented"shit music nowadays it goes too much in the direction of "dance" than it does in feeling, emotion or depth.
