Earlier this week, we lost one of the most profound cultural theorist of our time, Stuart Hall, “The Godfather of Multiculturalism” at the age of 82 on Feb. 10, 2014. We would like to thank him for his work and the legacy that he has left behind. We ask that you all take the time to watch this brief video of him, and reflect on the impact the media has on the perceptions of POC and how we perpetuate these stereotypes ourselves.
