‘selma’ trailer

Watch the trailer for upcoming Civil Rights film, ‘Selma’. The Ava DuVernay directed project depicts the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches led by James Bevel, Hosea Williams, and Martin Luther King, Jr. of SCLC (Southern Christian Leadership Conference ) and John Lewis of SNCC (Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee). The film – which is already gaining oscar buzz – stars David Oyelowo as King, Tom Wilkinson as President Lyndon Johnson, Common as Bevel, Oprah Winfrey, and Carmen Ejogo as Coretta Scott King.
